How’s it going, ladies! Today we’ve decided for a little unusual topic, but we hope, it will be interesting for you anyway. We’ve started addidng some music background to our insta stories and you seem to quite like it and we are very happy about that! So, today you are going get an insight to the tracks reminding us of summer 2017, which was and still is totally amazing!

Before we get to the list, you need to know that even though we are great friends and colleagues, our music taste is a bit different 🙂 Ivka is crazy about those ‘tuc tuc’ house tracks, Katka, on the other hand is fond of chilled RNB style. That’s why the tracks are divided and each chose top 6 of her recently played list. And perhaps a little hint for those who don’t know how to listen to music for free. Give Spotify or Deezer a try. 🙂 So, let’s get to it.

Katka:

1. Rihanna – Wild Thoughts

Do you remember that legendary song Maria Maria by Carlos Santana? I loved it! When I heard the new Rihanna version, it instantly got to my chart of top faves! And I can’t get enough of it!

2. Charlie Puth – Attention

This song has been on my playlist all August and it’s such a calm summer song. It’s definitely the genre I love. Not such fast RNB tempo, that’s so me!

3. Felix Jaehn – Hot2Touch

This track has an incredible summer drive for me! I usually play it in the morning on my way to work and I get a smile on my face right away! Listen to it yourselves, girls.

4. Calvin Harris – Feels

Together with Wild Thoughts, this belongs to the best tracks of summer 2017! I love funky and that’s why this song gets me going so much! It’s awesome to dance to and you just have summer and positive mood right after playing it!

5. Jonas Blue – Mama

My summer music tips continue with this easy-going, chilled song. Until I’ve had enough of it, I listened to it maybe 100 times! Now it’s up on my playlist and when I play it, I get this great feeling. I’m sure this is going to be one of the summer 2017 reminders.

6. Alma – Chasing Highs

The passion you can hear when she is singing, well, I haven’t heard that in a while. Every time I hear it I get goosebumps during the first chorus! I highly recommend you add this to your playlist!

Iva:

1.Michael Kiwanuka – Cold Little Heart

I kinda fell in love with this song while watching Big Little Lies TV series. If you haven’t seen it, I definitely recommend it. It plays right at the intro and every time I hear it, Reese Witherspoon driving a car and thinking about world problem, pops into my mind.

2.Fuego – Alok

I’ve just recently discovered this song when my friend played it for me, I added it to my Spotify top list right away. It’s perfect for a party.

3.Future – Mask Off

Since last Coachella I added one kind of music to my chart that I did not listen to before; I’m talking about rap. After so many days of listening to it, it got to my ears so much, that I had to download it right when I got home.

4.Martin Garrix – Byte

Well, this boy is a favorite of this year. Before summer, I was trying to find out whether I could bump into him somewhere at a concert, which would fall in to my agenda, but without success. But I got lucky and he performed in Las Vegas last weekend, which is only a 45-minute-flight away from LA. So, you can imagine how I was jumping with joy.

5.Chris Malinchak – So Good To Me

A track, that my yoga instructor played during the most challenging parts, ‘peak times’, doing a plank for 2 minutes for example. Your muscles begin to tremble, sweat is dripping down your forehead and then you have this music playing in the background. It’s quite full of energy, isn’t it?

6.Eric Prydz – Opus

This track has belonged to my heart since last year. Memory? My 30th birthday party. When we get together as a group, we play it every single time. We’ve already started making up stories we imagine when we hear it. Crazy.

We do believe we’ve inspired you and you have any tips for a great song you’ve just discovered, feel free to let us know in the comments, we’ll be super glad!

Have a nice Sunday!

Katka and Iva
